Can India, New Zealand or Sri Lanka break into the top two?
Australia’s next Test match of the series against Bangladesh will be on August 22 at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay. They will later make a trip to the Proteas in October before returning home and hosting the Kiwis for a four-match Test series in their home summer.
India, meanwhile, after their series against Sri Lanka, will face the Blackcaps and arrange the five-match series by the beginning of 2027. They will hope to get as many victories in those games and keep themselves alive in the qualification scenario.
