It not only gives the credit for retaining promising campaigners but also invests a significant amount in emerging talent like G Kamalini, a 16-year-old cricketer from Tamil Nadu who could be a game-changer for the side in the long run.
They have also tried to plug a possible injury hole by drafting in South Africa's Nadine de Klerk, who may have a significant role to play if Pooja Vastrakar doesn't recover from a long-standing back injury. Overall, it would be no surprise to find the inaugural edition champions being favourites for the 2025 WPL title.
