3. Gujarat Giants

Gujarat Giants have been the lowest-performing team in the previous two WPL seasons, finishing at the bottom of the points table each time. They bid the highest for Simran Shaikh, who recently scored 176 runs in 11 Senior Women's T20 Trophy games. Deandra Dottin, a Caribbean player, was another critical acquisition that would increase the team's experience level.

However, the team lacks a strong bowling attack. Meghna Singh and Priya Mishra have yet to show themselves and may not represent a significant threat to the opposition. Their reliance on international offences could be a big positive, but only the bowler's lineup could hinder their run.

Gujarat Giants 2025 WPL Squad:

Beth Mooney (Captain), Ashleigh Gardner, Dayalan Hemalatha, Harleen Deol, Laura Wolvaardt, Shabnam Shakil, Tanuja Kanwer, Phoebe Litchfield, Meghna Singh, Kashvee Gautam, Priya Mishra, Mannat Kashyap, Bharti Fulmali, Sayali Satghare, Deandra Dottin, Simran Shaikh, Danielle Gibson, Prakashika Naik
