Dharamshala Stadium on Thursday (May 8) was deluged in the dark, floodlights went off, and security persons evacuated the audience from the ground—probably a first-of-a-kind sight in the history of the Indian Premier League. The growing tension between India and Pakistan became more alarming among common people. Netizens' speculations about possibilities of war. Amid the tension Pakistan Super League is now under uncertainty. Should the BCCI consider postponing the ongoing IPL 2025

Here are 5 reasons to resume IPL 2025:

1) Availability of Venues: India, the nation known for its craze for cricket, has multiple cricket stadiums across the nation. If BCCI senses any threat to arranging matches in the north or west, then matches can be shifted to the central or eastern part of the country.

2) Transportation: With a tight schedule, players mainly took flights for a hassle-free journey. Once the board reconsidered the venues, then transportation may not have emerged as a major problem for the franchises. Despite all the tensions, the airspace belongs to India still operating well.

3) The threat factor: Out of the social media universe, in reality, people are leading their daily lives like other normal days. The central government has not issued any warning for the citizens of the country. The total area and the vast landscape are the two plus points for India.

4) Security: Apart from the Indian Army, the other security forces are well aware and active in alarming situations. Safety for people, including players, is always a priority for the government. If any serious position emerged, necessary steps will be taken according to the needs.

5) Monetary Loss: The Indian Premier League is not only a platform for cricketers; it is a platform for businesspersons as well. Over the years, IPL has gained the tag' Cash Rich.' So any loss of a match or cancellation of the tournament can lead the board to extreme financial loss. As the central government didn't release any notice regarding the speculations of 'war,' so it is a continuation of IPL 2025; it seems only a matter of time.
