The Rajasthan-born had been in stunning form during the Ranji Trophy's previous season. He performed well with both bat and ball. "I thought their left-arm spinner (Manav Suthar) bowled beautifully. He bowled quite slowly in the first session, and the way he was able to be really consistent in the second, changing his pace, he got a few wickets. He was building pressure today. It's a great template we can follow going into the next innings," McSweeney said.
Australia A team of batters again performed brilliantly at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. In their first innings, the visitors registered 420 runs, with help from three fifty-plus run innings.
