Aakash Chopra predicted something huge about the upcoming mini auction. Ahead of the IPL 2026, a mini auction will be held. For that, franchises already have been working on their plans. Speculations related to players trading and signing become a part of social media platforms. During the mega auction, Indian players like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer got record-breaking deals. Which player can make headlines before IPL 2026 begins?

Chopra, in his YouTube video, predicted that Cameron Green can get a record amount of bids in the mini auction. The Australia international has shown some great performances in recent times for Australia. The all-rounder scored a match-winning 55-run innings against the West Indies at Basseterre. Against South Africa too, the 26-year-old looked promising. Chopra believes that during the mini auction, there can be multiple interests for this Aussie.

"Cameron Green, I feel he could be the most expensive player in the auction. Since he has returned from injury, his batting form is already incredible. He is not yet ready to bowl but will start bowling at some stage. He is batting in the top order at the moment because he is not bowling," the former cricketer, now a cricket expert, said on his YouTube channel.

Green played a couple of IPL seasons

"If he starts bowling, and considering the batting ability he has, he could actually break the bank. People will spend a lot of money on him. That's what I feel. So this auction could be in Cameron Green's name."

Green missed the previous edition of the Indian Premier League because of injury reasons. Mumbai Indians first picked up this talent from Australia before the IPL 2023. In that season, the talented cricketer played 16 matches for Mumbai and scored a total of 452, including a 100 not out. During this period he took 6 wickets as well. In the next season, Green went to Royal Challengers Bengaluru and scored only 255 and claimed 10 wickets.
