While Virat Kohli was named Man of the Match for playing a 93-run knock, Rohit Sharma won cricket lovers' hearts with his elegant pull shot. During Rohit Sharma's 26-run innings against 29 balls, there was a pull shot that stole the show instantly. All cricket fans are praising the elegant shot from Sharma's bat.

Even ICC President Jay Shah, who was in attendance, also couldn't resist clapping after seeing the pull shot. Rajiv Shukla was also there to witness the mesmerizing scene. Rohit Sharma played an innings of 26 runs in 29 balls, which included 2 sixes and 3 fours. With this brief innings, Rohit became the opener with the most sixes in ODI cricket history. Rohit has hit 329 sixes as an ODI opener, surpassing West Indies' Chris Gayle (328) in this regard.

In the IND vs NZ 1st ODI at the BCA Stadium, New Zealand, batting first, scored 300 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Their openers, Devon Conway, scored 56 runs, and Henry Nicholls scored 62 runs. From the middle order, another experienced batter, Daryl Mitchell, struck 84 runs. In response, India won the match in 49 overs with 4 wickets remaining. Virat Kohli top-scored for Team India with 93 runs, while Shubman Gill contributed 56 runs. Shreyas Iyer also scored 49 runs.
