For the 3rd match of the ongoing 3-match ODI series between India and Australia (IND vs AUS 3rd ODI), the Indian team management can take a huge call on their batting order. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and the chief selector are expected to take some important decisions about the batting line-up involving captain Shubman Gill.

In the series, Shubman Gill acted as the skipper of the team. So far, the young captain and batter has been struggling on the bouncy tracks of Australia, ahead of the last 50-over match of the series, which is a prestige fight for the Men in Blue, as Australia already is leading the series by 2-0. It is needless to say that the team, which is currently going through a transition phase, needs to look out for all of their possible options. Jaiswal and Sharma is a potential opening pair on paper. To make this happen, the batting position of Gill has to change. The current ODI team captain can play as a number three batter as well.

Another question is, will the Indian team management play Kuldeep Yadav in the 3rd match? Multiple cricket experts urge the management to include the Chinaman spinner in the playing combination. So far, without Jasprit Bumrah, the bowling attack of the team has not looked effective enough to take wickets at crucial moments.
