As per media reports, Andre received a brand-new offer letter from Sourav Ganguly.
According to media reports, the Kolkata Knight Riders batter received a new offer letter from Ganguly on behalf of Pretoria Capitals, an SA20 setup owned by the JSW group. The former cricketer is associated with the Delhi franchise, which is also owned by the same. From the reports it is now clear that Ganguly was heavily influenced by Andre Russell's stormy knock against Rajasthan Royals.
The 37-year-old Jamaican cricketer was not up to the mark from the beginning of the ongoing IPL 2025. Like his team, the all-rounder was also struggling to find his rhythm on the field. With the help of Russell's 57, Kolkata Knight Riders was able to make 206 in the first innings, and they won the equal rival match by only 1 run.
