The United Arab Emirates will lock horns with Oman in Match 7 of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Monday, September 15. The Muhammad Waseem-led side endured a tough beginning to their campaign, suffering a crushing nine-wicket loss to India in their opening fixture. Their batting collapsed miserably, with the team bowled out for just 57 runs in 13.1 overs. India then made light work of the chase, achieving the target in 4.3 overs to open their points tally.

Their bowling unit allowed Pakistan to put up 160 runs on the board, before their batting order crumbled under pressure. They never looked comfortable during the chase and were bundled out for just 67 runs, falling short by 93 runs. The team will now look to regroup quickly.
