The anticipation around the Asian Games 2026 is already building as the cricket schedule for both the men’s and women’s competitions has been announced officially. The Asian Games 2026 will be hosted by Japan, with all the games set to be played at a single venue, the Korogi Athletic Park. 

India won the gold title in both the men’s and women’s cricket at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou. It will be the time for the blue brigade to repeat the same success and defend its titles.

The men’s tournament is comprised of two groups, A and B, along with the four seeded sides, who have been decided on the ICC T20I rankings and have directly qualified for the knockout stage.

Iyer to lead Men, Harmanpreet leads Women — Full squads and where to watch

The games will be telecast on the Sony Sports Network channels on television and will be streamed on SonyLIV. The men’s squad will be led by Shreyas Iyer in the presence of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The women’s team will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur in their title defence.
