Hetmyer scored a 19-ball fifty to set a new record for fastest fifty by a West Indies cricketer in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup history. To complete his fifty, the left-handed batter smashed four fours and five sixes. He controlled the innings even after his half-century, while he was also dropped once again at 70 runs.
Finally, Hetmyer's storm ended in the 15th over, where West Indies already scored 176 runs before losing the third wicket. The no.3 batter scored 85 off just 34 balls with seven fours and seven sixes.
