Another embarrassing situation for Bangladesh. On the eve of opening day of the Bangladesh Premier League, it was reported widely that Noakhali Express head coach Khaled Mahmud and a former Bangladesh captain left the team's training with immediate effect by an autorickshaw.
The team was all set for a training session at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, but the angry coach and the former Bangladesh captain decided to storm out of the venue by local transportation. The incident not only caught the attention of the officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) but also attracted attention from the international arena. According to media reports, Khaled Mahmud, head coach of the Noakhali Express team, spotted the lack of facilities as soon as he arrived on the ground. It was also reported that for the training, there were only three balls there for the team.
To see the lack of arrangements, the coach left the field with anger in an auto despite members of the team practising at the venue. Speaking to the media Khaled Mahmud said he had never seen such conditions in the BPL before and that he did not want to work in the league under these circumstances. The team's bowling coach, Talha Jubair, also supported what the head coach said.

"I will not work in the BPL under these circumstances. I have never seen this in the BPL before," Mahmud said while getting into the CNG autorickshaw.
"I think I may have overreacted in the moment. There were not enough facilities in training. I didn't get the equipment I needed. That's when I lost my temper. I think I behaved poorly at that instance. I want to thank the owners. I spoke to them. The BCB has also spoken to me," Mahmud later said.
