BCPL 2025: Working professionals take a step towards International cricket – Everything you need to know

The Bharatiya Corporate Premier League (BCPL) has quickly become India's biggest T20 cricket tournament specifically designed for corporate workers and working professionals. Connecting work life with sports ambitions, BCPL makes cricket dreams a reality on a professional stage. Conceptualized by Kriparti Playing 11 Private Limited, the league has successfully completed three electrifying seasons, each growing in stature, scale, and talent.

With the arrival of Season 4 in 2025, BCPL is all set to scale new heights. With 10 top corporate teams, a ₹3 crore prize amount—the largest in corporate cricket—and pan-India visibility, this season will be bigger, bolder, and better. BCPL has now become the world's largest corporate cricket league, celebrating the spirit of camaraderie, competitiveness, and the pure passion for the game among professionals across India.

How to Apply for BCPL 2025

All full-time or part-time staff of registered Indian companies are eligible to participate in BCPL 2025. The applicants have to register through the official site BCPL on before June 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM IST. Documents required are proof of employment, like a payslip, ID, or offer letter. A nominal fee of ₹500 is to be paid online. Freelancers and self-employed people are not eligible to register.

Nationwide Trials and Selection Process

For providing equal opportunity, trials will be conducted in 19 prominent cities from June 30 to August 30, 2025. Cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and others will be covered. Every trial will assess batting, bowling, and fielding abilities, followed by short-form games. Players need to bring their own equipment. The best players will be shortlisted for the auction process based on merit and ability.

Exciting Player Auction and Team Building

The eagerly awaited player auction has been scheduled for September 15, 2025, when 10 corporate teams will bid for shortlisted players. From a base price of ₹10,000, bids can rise to ₹5 lakh. The teams will field squads of between 15 and 18 players, with a firm combination of specialists and all-rounders. These teams will be representing some of India's leading corporate houses, all competing for BCPL glory.
