One of the talking points from the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has been the fearless and superb batting performance of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The Rajasthan Royals’ opener has already smashed some of the world-class bowlers for sixes around the park comfortably to make massive jumps in his career.

The 15-year-old wonder kid, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, holds the Orange Cup currently after crossing 400 runs in just nine matches of this event at a powerful strike rate of 238.09. Many have called for his inclusion in the Indian set-up for their two-match T20I series against Ireland after the IPL 2026.

Sooryavanshi gives fitting reply to 'AI Chip in bat' remark

Away from this nonsense talks, Sooryavanshi clubbed another dashing knock of 43 runs off just 16 balls against the Punjab Kings in Chandigarh. After his side’s victory, he was asked about this ‘AI chip’ remark to which he gave a funny reply.

Watch the video here:

“Bhagwan ne laga ke dia hai. Upar he bola tha ke bat mein tumhare kuch laga ke de raha hoon. Usi ka istimaal kar raha hoon (God attached it to my bat. He said in heaven that he has attached something to your bat. I am using that).” The southpaw addressed.

He has scripted history in the IPL 2026 by becoming the fastest to reach 400 runs in a single season as his 167 balls tops the chart to overtake Andre Russell, who got the milestone in 188 balls in 2019.

Pakistan expert makes shocking claim on Sooryavanshi

The Pakistan cricket expert and journalist, Nouman Niaz, a few days ago, during a podcast, suggested that the Bihar-born must have been using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chip installed in him that helps him in hitting the long over boundaries.

“What is that boy! Like WADA does doping checks, he should be sent to some lab, he probably has some AI chip installed in him. He's absolutely unreal, man. I mean, I'm having such high hopes. What a player he is.” Niaz expressed in that viral video.

“I think he played a little slow (against SRH), should've had a strike-rate of 300. Okay, so medically, when you are 18 years old, your entire body starts to shape. Your shoulders become round, muscles are formed, triceps, biceps, and your core is strong because you have peak surge, hormone, testosterone.” He added.
