Watch: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh meets with India Women's Team players Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma

The entire nation is still celebrating the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 triumph of the Indian Women's cricket team. Stars from multiple fields gathered at the night of the Global Peace Honours ceremony. World Cup-winning cricketers Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma were there to share the luminous stage. 

During the event, they got to meet Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Ranveer Singh was overjoyed and thrilled to see them together. A video of stars is surfacing on the internet, which is attached in the article below. From the video we can see Like Ranveer, Renuka and Deepti looked very happy to see the silver screen hero in front of their eyes. Ranveer hugged Renuka, while Deepti shook hands with the actor. Later, the three of them together posed for a brief photoshoot session. 

From the stage of the season, Deepti said, "My message to all young girls is to keep dreaming big. They should be supported by their families so that they too can make the nation proud."

Ranveer Singh meets with Renuka Singh and Deepti Sharma at the Global Peace Honours ceremony: 

Talking about the final of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025, the India Women's team won the match by 52 runs. A big margin to outclass a top-class opponent in the final. Shafali Verma was named as the best player of the match. Deepti Sharma got the Player of the Tournament award. 

Batting first, IND-W registered 298/7 in their 50-over limit. Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma offered India a great start. Smriti scored 45, and Shafali scored 87 runs against 78 deliveries. Deepti came as a middle-order batter and smacked an important 58-run knock. South Africa-W was all out for 246 runs despite a century from the skipper and opener Laura Wolvaardt. Deepti claimed 5 wickets as well with her bowling skills.
