Experienced Australian opener David Warner mocked an emerging Pakistani international pacer. According to Warner, the Pakistani seamer was bowling like a 4-year-old kid.

Sydney Thunder vs Brisbane Heat was an entertaining match on January 10 at the Gabba in Brisbane. In this match, David Warner was in good touch, scoring 82 runs off 56 balls with 3 sixes and eight boundaries. During his innings, Warner faced the Pakistani bowler Zaman Khan, who has a sling bowling action.

The ongoing Big Bash League 2025-26 (BBL 2025-26) features multiple Pakistani cricketers, including Khan. The 24-year-old is not among the star players of the Pakistan cricket team, but because of his exciting bowling action, he is often counted among the x-factors of the Brisbane Heat. So far, Khan has been struggling in the tournament.

During the Sydney Thunder vs Brisbane Heat BBL 2025-26, the Pakistani bowler started his spell with a big wide. He missed the line length all along; the ball even kept low, which annoyed Warner very much. Later, he put a question over the bowling action.

"He is bowling like a four-year-old. It stays so low. "Looks like he is throwing the ball; it seems illegal," David Warner on Zaman Khan's bowling action.

Talking about the match, Sydney Thunder registered 180/6 in the 20-over limit, thanks to Warner's attacking batting. Zaman Khan conceded 32 runs without taking any wickets in his 3-over spell. Batting second, Brisbane Heat chased down the total with ease by 7 wickets in only 16.2 overs. Usman Khawaja, captain of Heat, played a match-winning 78-run innings off 48 balls.
