Barbados Royals (BR) are set to face Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in Match 28 of CPL 2025 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown on Saturday, September 13. The Rovman Powell-led Royals have struggled throughout the season, managing only one win from eight matches, with six defeats and one no result. Their most recent outing ended in heartbreak as they fell short by just one run against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, leaving them rooted at the bottom of the points table.

Meanwhile, Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) enter the contest with a confirmed playoff spot but will be eager to regain form after going winless in their last two games. The Nicholas Pooran-led side has been consistent overall, with six wins and three losses so far. Earlier this season, TKR defeated the Royals by seven wickets in Trinidad, and they will aim to replicate that success. A strong performance here could help them build momentum ahead of the playoffs.
