The league which Abhishek Bachchan co-owns will become the first ICC-sanctioned T20 franchise competition to operate in Europe. The first edition will occur between August 26 and September 20 in 2026 and will include six teams playing 33 matches in cities such as Glasgow and Amsterdam and Dublin and Belfast and Edinburgh and Rotterdam.

The league already includes multiple prominent figures who have joined its ranks. Steve Waugh is linked with the Amsterdam franchise while Glenn Maxwell is involved with the Belfast team. The Edinburgh team has support from Kyle Mills and Nathan McCullum while Mitchell Santner serves as their expected on-field leader.
