The nameplate read, "The Great Wall was not built in a day," symbolising Dravid’s patience, dedication, and enduring legacy on and off the field. The gesture highlighted the admiration that the franchise, players, and fans hold for the legendary cricketer, often regarded as one of India’s finest and most dependable batsmen.

Dravid interacted with academy players, shared insights from his illustrious career, and encouraged the next generation of cricketers to focus on discipline, hard work, and perseverance. Rahul Dravid’s cricket journey began in age-group cricket, moved through a successful first-class career with Karnataka, and reached its peak with 16 years playing for India. Known as “The Wall,” he scored over 10,000 runs in both Tests and ODIs, led India to historic wins overseas, and later became a coach. After retiring, he mentored junior teams, headed the National Cricket Academy, and guided India to the 2024 T20 World Cup title.
