The match between the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium turned out to be an absolute thriller. This was a high-scoring game in which both sides were attacking right from the beginning till the end. Fans saw one of the most tight encounters in the IPL 2026, with the result being decided on the last ball.

Gujarat Titans batted first and posted 210/4 in 20 overs. Shubman Gill played a good innings scoring 70 runs, while Jos Buttler contributed 52 runs. Washington Sundar also scored 55 runs. Delhi bowlers failed to contain runs, Mukesh Kumar bagging 2 wickets for his team while others struggled to stop runs.

In the second half, Delhi Capitals replied with an excellent 209/8 in 20 overs, being only 1 run short of their target. KL Rahul made a remarkable total of 92 runs during the chase. David Miller remained not out with 41 from 20 deliveries, whereas Vipraj Nigam made score 11 runs. The match went down to the last ball, where a run-out denied Delhi victory.

David Miller turns the game with power hitting

The 19th over by Mohammed Siraj changed the game completely. The over started with a wide ball. On the next ball, David Miller hit a big six over deep midwicket. Then he followed it with a powerful four through the covers, showing great control under pressure.

On the third legal ball, Miller played the shot of the match. Siraj bowled a half-volley outside off, and Miller hit a massive no-look six straight down the ground. The ball travelled 85 metres over the sightscreen, and Miller didn’t even turn to look at it. This moment completely shifted the momentum towards Delhi.
