Their previous clash of the competition against Rawalpindi at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore saw their captain, David Warner, being involved in a heated altercation.

David Warner and Moeen Ali’s heated argument in PSL 2026

The KRK captain, David Warner, was involved in the heated exchange with the all-rounder, Moeen Ali, as the video went viral on a social media platform. The clip went around like wildfire, which drew strong reactions from the cricketing fraternity as the fans were baffled at the situation and pointed out that moments like these can pull a team down on any occasion.

The real reason for Warner to be angry remains unknown, but it could be because of his wickets at a critical moment of the game, as they needed five runs to win the clash in the final over, and they lost Moeen Ali on the very first ball of the chase. Moeen missed the short ball and was adjudged leg before the stumps.

Karachi Kings completed third successive PSL 2026 victory

Rawalpindiz didn’t make a great start with the bat as they found themselves 55/3 in 6.1 overs before the 120-run stand for the fourth wicket between Daryl Mitchell and Sam Billings gave them a strong platform. The former nailed 65 runs in 41 balls with the help of five boundaries and three sixes, while Billings drilled 58 runs in just 35 balls.
