While the IPL 2026 is just a few days away from beginning, the Delhi Capitals have talked about the availability of the Australian left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc for the tournament.

Delhi Capitals bought Mitchell Starc for INR 11.75 crore during the IPL 2025 auction. While the left-arm fast bowler impressed last season, he was rightfully retained by the franchise for the IPL 2026. However, Starc's availability for the upcoming IPL season was doubtful, at least for the early season.

Now, the Delhi Capitals have clarified that Starc is 100 percent fit. If he gets NOC, the left-arm fast bowler can even be available for their first game of the season, which will be played on April 1 against the hosts Lucknow Super Giants. However, the franchise is currently clueless, as they are waiting for any update.
