Virat Kohli and the entire Royal Challengers Bengaluru team received a grand welcome at the HAL airport. The deputy CM of Karnataka, DK Shivakumar, on Wednesday, June 4, was there himself to welcome the IPL 2025 winning team. He took photos with Virat Kohli exclusively to frame the special moment forever.

According to the previous plans, an open bus parade was arranged for the winning team so that their fans in the city could witness them from close and celebrate together. But later on today it is informed that the open bus parade program has been scrapped due to security reasons. The management of the RCB and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) had planned to organize the event.

As per some reports, fans were all looking crazy even before the team arrived, and due to a huge crowd gathering, the situation turned difficult for police to handle. For those reasons, the open bus planning had to be deleted. This evening, the KSCA will organize a program at the Chinnaswamy Stadium where the RCB team will be felicitated in front of their home crowds.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar will offer their congratulations. Two members from the RCB team will speak."

• Entry is restricted to ticket/pass holders only.

• There will be no victory parade.

• Due to limited parking, the public is advised to use the metro and other transportation.

• The public is advised to avoid the CBD area from 3 PM to 8 PM (today, Wednesday).
