India's love for cricket reflects again. In a recently published report, the top 10 most talked about Indians in July 2025 have been listed. Surprising many cricket fans, it was Mahendra Singh Dhoni who was second in the list, just after PM Narendra Modi and first among the cricketers.

In this list, Dhoni left behind other star cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, and Ravindra Jadeja. It is no less than amazing to see a cricketer, who retired years ago, still spark curiosity among cricket fans.

MS Dhoni's retirement date from international cricket was August 15, 2020. He announced his decision on Instagram with a post that included images from his career and the caption "From 1929 hrs, consider me as retired."
