Match Information

  • Match: New Delhi Tigers v Outer Delhi Warriors (Match 30)
  • Location: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi
  • Toss: New Delhi Tigers (bowl)
  • Date: Friday August 22, 2025

New Delhi Tigers hammered Outer Delhi Warriors in the chase of 143 runs with a convincing 7-wicket victory in just 15.2 overs. After the Warriors posted 142 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, it was the efforts of Priyansh Arya and Harsh Tyagi who provided the only resistance in the batting ranks of Outer Delhi. For New Delhi it was the firepower from the top order, which included Captain Himmat Singh and Shivam Gupta, that made the run chase fairly economical.

Outer Delhi Warriors Innings: 142/7 in 20 overs

The Warriors did get off to a fast start with Priyansh Arya scoring a brisk 36 off just 26 balls, which helped them to a reasonable score. Harsh Tyagi also went on to remain unbeaten on 28 runs off 24 balls to just make sure they tried to keep it past 140 runs. It was too bad Shivam Sharma could only get out to face a mere 14 balls and scored 28 runs in the process. However, with wickets falling on a regular basis, it was too much to bear. The run scoring may have been somewhat manageable for the Tigers if not for the runs put on by Tyragi and Sharma.
In terms of the Tigers' best contributions with the ball, Aatrey Tripathi (2/19) and Prince Yadav (1/36) were effective in being able to keep things in check. Also, Pradyuman Sanan (1/16) bowled the best spell for the New Delhi Tigers due to only conceding 16 runs off 4 overs.

Batting Highlights:

  • Priyansh Arya – 36 (26)
  • Harsh Tyagi – 28* (24)
  • Shivam Sharma – 28 (14)

Bowling Highlights:

  • Aatrey Tripathi – 2/19 (4)
  • Pradyuman Sanan – 1/16 (4)
  • Prince Yadav – 1/36 (4)

New Delhi Tigers Innings: 144/3 in 15.2 overs (Target: 143)

Powered by captain Himmat Singh's 58 (38) and wicket-keeper Shivam Gupta's 59 (43) at the top, the Tigers easily chased down the 142-run target. Lakshay Thareja finished the job with a brutal 9* (5) after Deepak Punia (7) was the only other wicket lost.
Shaurya Malik (2/30) attempted to spark a comeback for the Warriors after dismissing Shivam Gupta and Himmat Singh, but the Tigers' batting depth ensured a smooth return to the victory column.

Batting Highlights:

  • Shivam Gupta - 59 (43)
  • Himmat Singh - 58 (38)
  • Lakshay Thareja - 9* (5)

Bowling Highlights:

  • Shaurya Malik - 2/30 (2)
