On August 12, at 7 PM, Purani Dilli 6 will play against table-toppers East Delhi Riders in Match 21 of the Delhi Premier League 2025 at Delhi. East Delhi has been flying high this season. They have managed to win four matches out of six and one was abandoned. Leading from the front with the bat and also keeping the Riders ahead in the playoff race, Skipper Anuj Rawat has been brilliant.

Purani Dilli 6, on the other hand, has had a tattered campaign so far with two wins and two losses. They have shown glimpses of quality but are yet to find the consistency needed to challenge top sides like East Delhi. Given the fiery form of the Riders, PD6 will be relying on the experience of their players to put on an upset show in this clash.

PD vs EDR: Head-to-Head

East Delhi Riders vs. Purani Dilli 6, DPL match encounter history. The two teams met only twice, with both matches won by EDR, and PD6 is yet to score a point.

PD vs EDR: Pitch Report

The pitch at Arun Jaitley Stadium is likely to favor those batters who play shots. Boundary sizes being shorter, bowlers—especially pace bowlers—will have to be very accurate, especially in the death overs, where the game can change fast. The surface gives very little help to bowlers, so defending totals can be tough.
