DPL 2025: South Delhi Superstarz full list of players in squad after auction

The South Delhi Superstarz went into the DPL 2025 auction with one of the most high-profile retentions Ayush Badoni, retained for ₹21 lakh. With his explosive batting and IPL experience, Badoni is set to be the backbone of a team that focuses on a strategic mix of marquee signings and exciting domestic prospects.

By far the most expensive signing at auction, South Delhi made a splash after taking Digvesh Rathi for ₹38 lakh. The reliable bowler is expected to lead the bowling attack and provide batting depth given his consistent performances in the domestic cricket scene in Delhi. Also, among their costly selections was Himanshu Chauhan (₹14 lakh) a solid top-order batter with good form in the local circuit, and Tejasvi (₹13.50 lakh), also a rising player with good finishing ability and useful medium-pace bowling.

South Delhi has also invested intelligently in multi-skilled players such as Anmol Sharma (₹6.50 lakh), Sumit Kumar (₹5.50 lakh), and Aman Bharti (₹5.75 lakh), giving them solid middle-order choices and bowling options.

Balance of Youth and Experience

South Delhi Superstarz made it clear that they were trying to build a deep squad with players who could step up when the pressure is on. Their signings in the ₹3 lakh bracket, including the talented Saksham Gahlot, Yatish Singh, Divansh Rawat, and Prikshit Sehrawat, would suggest that they have an eye for identifying young talent.
