The 2026-27 domestic season in India will begin with the Duleep Trophy, which will be played between August 23 and September 10 at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The zone-competition will bring the best first-class cricketers together and go up against each other.

This year’s edition will see the 15-year-old sensation, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, making his mark in red-ball cricket, having already impressed with the bat during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 and for the Indian side, as he celebrated his maiden fifty against Zimbabwe in Harare.

All the games of the Duleep Trophy 2026/27 will begin at 9:30 in the morning in India. For the ongoing season, JioHotstar has the rights to show the domestic games in India and all the games to be played in this country.

The morning session of the games will be between 9:30 and 12, with the lunch costing 40 minutes. The second session will be between 12:40 pm and 2:40 pm, as the tea will add another 20 minutes. The third session will be two hours, as 98 overs are scheduled to be bowled on each day. 

That means the live broadcast of the competition will be available on the Star Sports channels, while the live streaming will be available on JioHotstar and their website.
