Vaibhav Suryavanshi – Rajasthan Royals
At just 14 years of age, Suryavanshi has already made it to the record books by becoming the youngest player to feature in the IPL. Despite being the youngest, Suryavanshi has punched way above his weight and has already achieved what many can only dream of. The youngster smashed all records during RR's clash with GT, where he slammed the third fastest IPL century (101 off 38 balls), taking the in-form GT bowlers to the cleaners. In the process, he also became the youngest player to ever hit a century in the IPL. His fearless approach and exceptional stroke play have drawn comparisons to cricketing legends. Suryavanshi has only started off his journey and has already hit the ground running. With so many accomplishments in a very short space of time, Suryavanshi has a long way to go, and it won't be long before we see him in Indian colours.
Priyansh Arya – Punjab Kings
Priyansh Arya from Punjab Kings had a stellar run in the 2025 IPL season. At age 24, Arya emerged as a major cornerstone in the PBKS batting lineup. He announced his arrival with a blistering 47 runs off just 23 balls against the Gujarat Titans, showcasing his aggressive batting style. Then a few games later, he followed it up blistering century against CSK (103 off 42), which went down in the record books as the fastest century by an uncapped player in IPL history. Time and again throughout the course of the tournament, Arya has showcased his aggressive temperament and the ability to switch through the gears in the roughfest of times. On the back of consistent performances, Arya can make a strong case for himself in India's white-ball setup.
Ashutosh Sharma – Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals' Ashutosh Sharma had a phenomenal outing in the last season, establishing himself as one of the season's breakout stars. At age 26, Ashutosh has a wealth of experience in domestic cricket. The years of grind at the domestic level are now showing positive results for him. The world has been able to see some glimpses of his brilliance with the bat. He has played some notable innings under pressure and has rescued DC from tricky situations. Ashutosh has exhibited real toughness during DC's clash with LSG when DC were 65-5 while chasing 210. Ashutosh anchored the innings with crucial partnerships, including a 50-run stand with debutant Vipraj Nigam (39 off 15 balls). Suyash Sharma – Royal Challengers Bangalore
Another youngster who is rising through the ranks rapidly is the 22-year-old leggie Suyash Sharma. Suyash has been a terrific find in the IPL and has demonstrated his appetite for picking up wickets. He commenced his IPL journey with KKR in the 2023 edition and had a remarkable stint with them, picking up 10 wickets at a stunning average of 32.1. He is a traditional leg spinner who can extract reasonable turn from the surface if the conditions presented to them are helpful. Moreover, he can also be very deceptive with his quicker delivery and wrong un. His fortunes changed when he joined RCB this year. he produced a game-changing spell of 3-17 to cripple PBKS in Qualifier 1, ultkmately driving RCB to the final and eventually to their maiden title. His ability to vary pace and flight makes him a formidable spinner in the T20 format.
Ayush Mhatre – Chennai Super Kings
Ayush Mhatre has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in IPL 2025, making a significant impact for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). At a tender age of just 17, Ayush has turned some heads around on the back of some eye-catching performances. Mhatre made his IPL debut at just 17 years and 278 days old, becoming the 7th youngest player in IPL history. He came in at No. 4 and scored a quickfire 32 runs off 15 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes, providing the much-needed impetus to CSK's innings. However, the most defining knock of his IPL career came against RCB on May 3, when he played a scintillating knock, scoring 94 runs off 48 balls while chasing a daunting total of 214. He narrowly missed his first-ever IPL century by just 6 runs. His exploits at this young age have made observers curious about what the youngster can achieve in the years to come.
