Journalist questions Babar Azam over finishing ability vs Virat Kohli
The journalist present during the press conference asked Babar about the comparison with Kohli. He mentioned that Kohli is a great finisher despite coming at the top order, but Babar has failed to finish matches for his team. The questions raised regarding Babar not finishing the game were valid, but the comparison to Kohli was not needed.
"Virat Kohli comes with the same shot of game as you but he finishes the match which you lack. People compare him with you what are your views on the comparison?" said the journalist.
Babar shuts down comparison, defends his match-winning record
Babar Azam gave a solid reply to the question, stating clearly that he has finished matches for his team as well. He urged the journalist to end the comparison as it isn't needed anymore. He is an incredible batter but the past few years have been quite difficult for him.
"Let's end the comparison. I know where you are coming from but end the comparison. I have finished a lot of matches for my team but if you think that I haven't, then I can't do anything about it," said Babar Azam.
