ENG vs IND: Team India Equals Record with 8 Scores of 300+ in a Test Series

Team India’s batting line-up Creacted a remarkable performance in the ongoing Test series against England. They scored 300 runs or more in an innings eight times, matching the record for the most 300+ totals in a single Test series in cricket history.

This is the first time since 1993 that a visiting team has scored to post seven or more 300+ scores in a bilateral Test series in England. India went one step further to make it eight, joining an elite list of teams to achieve this milestone.

The series saw great contributions from all players. Shubman Gill led the way with four centuries, including a superb double hundred. KL Rahul was solid at the top, scoring over 500 runs in the series. Ravindra Jadeja also made history by becoming the first Indian batting at No. 6 or lower to score more than 500 runs in this Test series.

Scoring consistently over 300 runs in every innings showed India’s depth and resilience in this young team. Against tough English conditions and quality bowling, this batting display will be remembered as one of India’s best overseas Test series performances.
