5. 4 for 32 vs England at Lord’s, 2021
In only his fifth Test, Siraj bowled brilliantly at Lord’s. He took four wickets in England’s first innings to keep India in the game. On the last day, after India set a tough target, Siraj took four more wickets in the final session. He got Moeen Ali and Sam Curran in back-to-back balls, then finished off Jos Buttler and James Anderson to help India win by 151 runs.
4. 5 for 73 vs Australia at the GABBA, 2021
When India toured Australia, many senior bowlers were injured. Siraj had to lead the attack even though he was new. In Brisbane, he took five wickets in Australia’s second innings. He got key batters out, including Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. His bowling helped India chase down the target and win the series, ending Australia’s long unbeaten run at the GABBA.
