Exclusive!! Virat Kohli’s nephew Aryaveer Kohli reveals his cricket journey

In an exclusive interview, Aryaveer, who picked up 3/6 during the Zone 20 U-14 Cricket Tournament final for D.P.S. Vasant Kunj against Modern School Vasant Vihar in 2022, shared his cricketing journey and planning for the upcoming DPL 2025.

Reporter: Aryaveer, please share with us something about your cricket journey. You have reached a higher level and will play the DPL for South Delhi, who had a successful run in the last season.

Aryaveer Kohli: Yeah, I have been playing cricket for several years. I was seven years old when I first started. Yeah, for DPL, there is so excitement and we will try to win the finals this time around.

Reporter: Your team, South Delhi, progressed to the final last year but somehow couldn’t manage to win that. So, what’s the plan for your side to clinch the title?

Aryaveer Kohli: We are focusing on the final and the trophy, nothing bigger apart from that.

Reporter: Is there any opponent in the tournament that you need to be careful of?

Aryaveer Kohli: No, we haven’t thought of it yet.

Last year, South Delhi finished as the runners-up of the event, losing the final against East Delhi Riders. But this year, the aim is to go a step forward and win the title.
