Does IPL unfollowed RCB on instagram?
The answer is, for now, no. IPL is still following the 2025 IPL winning franchise through social media accounts. There is no strong indication that the league has distanced itself from the Bengaluru-based franchise.
Because of the tragic incident, where 11 lives have been lost, RCB’s Head of Marketing and Revenue, Nikhil Sosale, and officials from DNA Entertainment Network (event management partner of RCB) have been arrested, and an FIR has been registered. On the other hand, out of moral responsibility, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Secretary A. Shankar and Treasurer E. S. Jairam have resigned. An investigation is underway, and the judicial commission is yet to submit a report on the incident. Due to the unorganized and chaotic gathering in the road, near the state assembly, the Vidhana Soudha security officer M.N. Kariasavana raised his concerns in a written format and said, "Lakhs of security personnel are supposed to come to Vidhana Soudha. Since there is a shortage of security personnel, making security arrangements will be difficult. The incident happened near the cricket stadium."
