India again thrashed Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. Match 2 of the Super Four stage, the India vs. Pakistan match, was held on September 21, 2025, at Dubai International Stadium. India won the match by chasing down a target of 172 in a well-controlled manner. From the beginning of the chase, India was under control.

Despite the result, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf produced an impressive bowling figure. In his four-over spell, the pacer claimed a couple of wickets, offering only 26 runs. Still, that was not sufficient to prevent Men in Blue from claiming the win. Rauf took the wickets of Shubman Gill and India captain Suryakumar Yadav. Gill lost his wicket after a well-made 47 off 28, but Yadav had to depart for a duck.

Despite bowling well, Rauf had to hear the 'Kohli, Kohli ...' chant from the Indian cricket team supporters present in the gallery. In a video shared on the social media platform 'X,' it is shown that the Pakistani cricketer was standing near the boundary line when some Indian cricket fans chanted Virat Kohli's name to intimidate Haris Rauf. Rauf tried to be cool at the moment, under pressure.

Fans chanted Virat Kohli's name to intimate Haris Rauf

During the T20I World Cup 2022, India was up against its archrival, Pakistan, in Melbourne. India was in an uncomfortable situation while chasing a modest target of 160. India needed 28 runs from the remaining 8 balls of the match.

At that moment, Kohli hit back-to-back 6s against Haris Rauf in the last two balls of the 19th over and immediately shifted the momentum. Eventually, India won the match. After the match, Rauf acknowledged that Virat played some of the best shots to hit those over boundaries.
