Full house gallery for the Mumbai vs. Sikkim Vijay Hazare Trophy match. Fans are chanting 'Mumbai Cha Raja...' as Rohit Sharma is in the field for Mumbai.

The craze around a domestic match in India is unreal. Only to see Rohit in action, fans in large numbers gathered in the venue. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it mandatory for every cricketer to take part in domestic cricket matches. Because of the mandate, icons like Rohit and Virat Kohli are playing the Vijay Hazare Trophy for their respective state teams.

 As it was reported, Sharma can play only a couple of matches for Mumbai in the tournament. A day before the match, there were a countless number of posts on social media platforms, creating hype around the matches and Delhi and Mumbai. It was a very heartbreaking moment for every Indian cricket fan to know that there would be no live streaming of either of these two matches. After, a record number of visitors were expected to turn on the stadium to see their favorite cricketers live on the ground.

Rohit had been active in his preparations ahead of their first match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the field, fans can see eleven cricketers of Mumbai playing, combining well with Rohit. Sarfaraz Khan and Sharma were there to cover the slip cordon. It will be interesting to see how Rohit performed with the bat.

For India, Rohit is expected to feature during the ODI series between India and New Zealand next year.
