"Fielding bhi Pakistan jaisi"— netizens trolls Virat Kohli after dropped easy catch against RR in IPL 2025

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) spinner Suyash Sharma was furious. Virat Kohli missed an easy catch against Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Netizens started to troll former RCB skipper and star Indian batter brutally after the incident. Some even compared Virat's catch miss with Pakistan's awful fielding.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru meet Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2025 game T20. RCB participated in a green jersey in spite of their red and black scheme outfit. After winning the toss, Bengaluru skipper Rajat Patidar decided to bowl first.

After a moderate spell of run drought, Yashasvi Jaiswal finally got back into form and helped RR to register a fighting score on board. In the ongoing IPL 2025, numerous matches had over 200 runs in both innings. When Jaiswal was on the field, 200 looked within Rajasthan Royals grip. The young Indian opener departed after scoring 75 off 47 balls. Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel played a couple of useful innings, but most of the time RCB bowlers were able to maintain their shape. For that reason, RR produced only 173/4 in 20 overs.

The scoreboard could be different if Kohli were able to complete the catch. Jurel was dropped by Virat Kohli when he was batting only at 12. Jurel made an unbeaten 35 of 23 runs. Virat Kohli is often recognized for his safe hands and agility in the field. But it is cricket; all are parts of the game. Even top fielders around the globe can make blunders.
