The captain of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajat Patidar, who helped the franchise to win their maiden trophy of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025, has shared a heartfelt message for the fans to break the silence on the stampede case of Bengaluru during the victory parade. The movement left 11 people dead and 75 injured, casting a dark shadow on the joyous moment.

Patidar, who replaced Faf du Plessis to become the new captain of the franchise during the previous edition, reckoned that they, in the RCB side of the IPL, would always want to stand by the people of the city. He aimed to hold hands with each other and find their strength again.
