Former Indian player chooses World No.1 All-Rounder between Jadeja, Cummins and Stokes
While Parthiv Patel named the top all-rounders like English cricketer Ben Stokes, Aussie captain Pat Cummins, former Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan, and Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, he chose one of them for maintaining exceptional consistency in all-round performances.

Former Indian wicketkeeper-batter Parthiv Patel recently revealed his best all-rounder in world cricket at present. While he named the top all-rounders like English cricketer Ben Stokes, Aussie captain Pat Cummins, former Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan, and Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, he chose one of them for maintaining exceptional consistency in all-round performances.
Jadeja is undoubtedly India’s greatest all-rounder: Parthiv Patel
Parthiv Patel highly praised the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is currently the no.1-ranked all-rounder in Test cricket. Apart from the legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, there is no other all-rounder who has achieved the dual records in Test career: 4000 runs and 400 wickets, and Parthiv feels that Jadeja can achieve it. The present Indian Test vice-captain Ravindra Jadeja has recorded 3990 Test runs and 334 Test wickets, as the all-rounder isn't far away from the historic feat.
Parthiv said on JioHoster, “Jadeja is undoubtedly India’s greatest all-rounder. With nearly 4,000 runs and approaching 335 wickets, I expect him to surpass 400 wickets and 4,000 runs by the end of his career, which is a monumental achievement. On the global stage, he is currently the number one all-rounder, there is no debate about it."
Parthiv Patel clarifies why Ravindra Jadeja is the best all-rounder at present
Naming other present top all-rounders, Parthiv said that Jadeja is far ahead of them due to his exceptional consistency in both roles, a batter and bowler, in all conditions.
Parthiv added, “While names like Ben Stokes, Pat Cummins, and Shakib Al Hasan come up, Jadeja stands far ahead. His exceptional consistency as both, a bowler and batter, across all conditions, sets him apart. It’s not just occasional brilliance; it’s sustained performance that solidifies his position as the world’s best all-rounder at present."
While India have taken a 1-0 lead in the home two-match Test series against West Indies after winning the Test series opener by an innings and 140 runs at Ahmedabad, Ravindra Jadeja won the Player of the Match award for his unbeaten century (104*) and a four-fer during the visitors' second innings (4/54).
