Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga has surprised his fans again, but this time not with cricket. He was seen playing the guitar and performing the opening tune of the popular Bollywood song Tum Hi Ho. Fans loved seeing this new and softer side of him.

Malinga, known for his deadly yorkers and match-winning bowling, showed a completely different talent. His guitar playing was smooth, and he played the song very accurately. Since retiring from international cricket, he has been exploring his love for music. He is now the bowling coach of the Mumbai Indians and has also started writing songs and making music, showing that music is one of his new hobbies.

The video became popular quickly on social media. Fans praised Malinga for his skills outside cricket. Many were surprised and happy to see him switch from bowling fast balls to playing a romantic Bollywood tune on the guitar. This showed that even sports stars can have many talents beyond their main profession.

Beyond his music, Lasith Malinga stays very close to cricket. He is the bowling coach of the Hardik Pandya-led team in the IPL. He helps young fast bowlers and makes the team’s bowling stronger with his experience.

The Sri Lankan speedster started playing international cricket in 2004. In a tour match in Australia, he took 6 wickets. He became one of the fastest bowlers to take 100 wickets for Sri Lanka.

He made history in the 2007 Cricket World Cup by taking four wickets in four balls in an ODI, the first and only bowler to do this. He also took several hat-tricks, including against Kenya and Australia. He played an important role in Sri Lanka’s win in the 2014 ICC T20 World Cup, bowling a match-winning spell in the final.

In the IPL, Malinga was very important for the Mumbai-based franchise. He became the team’s all-time leading wicket-taker with 170 wickets. He also bowled the winning last ball in the 2019 IPL final.
