Rohit Sharma's and Virat Kohli's relationship with head coach Gautam Gambhir might not be on all good terms, it was reported after the India vs South Africa 1st ODI in Ranchi, where the home team won the game by 17 runs in a high-scoring contest.
Amid the speculations of the two star players with Gambhir, a video drew attention from Indian cricket fans on social media platforms. Through the video, viewers can see Sharma and Gambhir engaged in a fun chat in the airport with Pragyan Ojha. Former India cricketer Pragyan Ojha is the newly appointed selector of Team India, who is also with the squad. The former spinner is also a good friend of Rohit Sharma.
It is now believed that to ease the situation between the players and the coach, Ojha is acting as the mediator. What is actually happening behind the curtain is unknown, but the footage from the airport is definitely an eye-catching sight ahead of the second ODI match of the ongoing three-match series. In the video we can see that Ojha, in black attire, shook hands with Sharma. Gambhir is there on the left side of Ojha, also with a smile on his face.

But there is no Virat Kohli in the frame. Team India is set to play the 2nd One Day International match against South Africa on December 3 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur. It will be a do-or-die match for South Africa, as they are trailing the series by 0-1. If India wins the next match, then they will win the series before the 3rd match. In case SA wins the 2nd game, then the third match will be the series decider.
As Rohit and Virat are all set to feature in the Raipur match, the craze around the match is touching the ceiling. In the previous contest, Sharma scored a half-century, and Kohli was named the best player of the match for scoring a match-winning century.
