Watch: Gautam Gambhir visits Siddhivinayak Temple with family ahead of IND vs ENG T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final clash
India head coach Gautam Gambhir visits Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple with his family and offers prayers ahead of a crucial match.

India's head coach Gautam Gambhir was spotted visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple with his family ahead of India's clash against England in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. The team's performance has been outstanding in the tournament as they have lost just a single game so far. With the changes in the top order, the team looks quite balanced.
Playing against England will not be an easy job since they are unbeaten in the Super 8 stage and performed well in the group stage as well. With Harry Brook in full form, it will be difficult for the Men in Blue to maintain their momentum. Moreover, they also have Rashid Khan as a spin bowler, and we have seen the Indian batters getting troubled by slow deliveries and spinners in the past.
Ahead of the clash, Gambhir went to the temple along with his family. Not only the head coach, but players like Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, and Axar Patel, also went to the temple. The videos went viral on social media, where the players were seen performing rituals in the temple.

Will India bring in Kuldeep Yadav ahead of Varun Chakaravarthy?
India's spin bowler Varun Chakaravarthy has been a consistent wicket-taker for the team in the ongoing World Cup 2026. However, he has faced issues with leaking runs as the batters have tried to hit sixes against him and have been successful as well.
Hence, the fans have anticipated Kuldeep Yadav's return to the playing XI ahead of the upcoming game. It's unlikely for the Indian team to make changes in the semi-final clash since they would like to go with the winning combination. Moreover, Chakaravarthy has got wickets in crucial times, which is extremely important. With a team like England, India will have to be prepared with their best playing XI.
