The skipper said that during a net session, he and head coach Gautam Gambhir were observing Sanju's batting in the nets. Unhone bola ki he has done so well in the last 10-15 T20Is (I never thought Sanju would not play. During our first net session of the tournament, I and Gautam Gambhir were standing behind the nets. Gambhir said that Sanju did very well in the last 10-15 T20Is," Suryakumar said.
After the discussion, Gambhir talked with the keeper-batter and assigned him the middle-order batting role, where a lot of uncertainty might work. But one particular thing Gambhir asked Samson impacted the game, said Surykumar Yadav.
