GG squad after WPL 2026 auction: Here’s complete updated list

Gujarat Giants (GG), semifinalist of the previous Women's Premier League (WPL), steal most of the limelight in the auction room, which was held on the afternoon of November 27. GG has the reputation of putting up the paddle aggressively; he did the same during the WPL 2026 auction. 

The Gujarat-based franchise came into the auction with only two retained players—Ashleigh Gardner and Beth Mooney—and a hefty moneybag. They did not hesitate to invest Rs 2.00 crore for the explosive batter Sophie Devine, which made their intention clear during the initial stage of the auction. Gujarat Giants franchise officials were there to reshape their squad, and they did that with precision. 

After the auction, their squad on paper looks well-balanced and a serious contender for the upcoming title. The team management created the new-look setup with a blend of internationally reputed players and domestic talents.  Bharti Fulmali (Rs 70 lakh), multi-talented all-rounder Kashvee Gautam (Rs 65 lakh), and India’s pace hope Renuka Singh (Rs 60 lakh) were some of their smart domestic picks.
