Virat Kohli was in action for the Delhi cricket team for a Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 (VHT 2025-26) match against Andhra Pradesh. The match on December 24 was held at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, Singahalli, in Karnataka. Because of security reasons, there was a very limited number of spectators inside the ground, unlike the packed Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, where thousands of fans gathered inside the stadium only to witness Rohit Sharma's batting.

The Delhi vs Andhra Pradesh match was about to be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the home ground of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Later, the match shifted to the BCCI Centre of Excellence ground for security concerns. The location of the ground was well connected through the local transportation system and surrounded by multiple commercial buildings.

From some of those buildings, which are not too far from the ground, persons who love cricket and followers of Virat Kohli enjoyed glimpses of his batting. A video, shared on social media platform 'X', captured two young girls watching Kohli's batting from a balcony.

According to the caption of the video, they were watching the match from an office balcony. Talking about the match, he played a 131-run knock against 101 balls with 14 fours and 3 sixes. Delhi eventually won the match by 4 wickets and 74 balls to spare. Andhra went to bat first and registered 298/8 on the scoreboard, which was a good total in a 50-overs match. Andhra batter Ricky Bhui claimed a hundred in the process.

With Virat, Priyansh Arya and multiple other proven batters in the line-up, Delhi chased down the target with a quick pace and claimed a vital win on the opening day of the tournament.
