The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), which begins on January 09 at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. Gujarat’s opening game of the competition will be on the following day against the UP Warriorz, before they face the Delhi Capitals 24 hours later.

Gujarat Giants’ Navi Mumbai leg will be quite sandwiched between each other, just like the Mumbai Indians, where they will feature in five clashes in a gap of just seven days. They have two successive fixtures against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in back-to-back days.
