The unfortunate news has arrived from Bengaluru. Three people have died stampeded due to the rush outside M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the home ground of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

A massive number of crowds have gathered outside the stadium gate to witness the felicitation program live from the stadium or to somehow see the IPL 2025 winning players. The public started to gather outside the airport and multiple locations even before the team landed in Bengaluru.

Eventually there was a plan for an open bus parade with the entire RCB team, but due to security reasons the plan had to be scrapped. The police and local governing bodies advised the general public early on to avoid any kind of unnecessary situation for the huge crowd in public places.

• Entry is restricted to ticket/pass holders only.

• There will be no victory parade.

• Due to limited parking, the public is advised to use the metro and other transportation.

• The public is advised to avoid the CBD area from 3 PM to 8 PM (today, Wednesday).
