India's cricket team remains on top of the ICC ODI Batting Rankings, with four players holding positions in the top 10. As of February 19, 2025, Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer have established themselves among the world's top-rated ODI batters.

Shubman Gill -Ranked no 1

Shubman Gill has risen to No. 1 with 796 rating points to become the top ODI batter. His performance, such as a match-winning century against England in Ahmedabad, has lifted him above other top batters. Gill's long innings capacity and pressure resistance have also made him India's go-to player.

Rohit Sharma-Ranked NO 3

India's skipper, Rohit Sharma, occupies the third place in the table with 773 points. His attacking batting ability and leadership quality from the front have established him as one of the most consistent openers of world cricket. One of his highlights in his recent outings has been a match-winning 119-run innings against England in the second ODI, which propelled India to win the series.

Virat Kohli - Ranked NO 6

Virat Kohli is at 6 with 728 points, one of the most deadly ODI hitters in the game at that nitty gritty sense Kohli still has the consistency and experience that India needs. Kohli has played well recently to give glimpses that maybe he's almost back to his craft, a vital cog in India's middle order.
Virat Kohli even at No. 6 (728 points) is one of the most feared ODI batsmen in cricket Kohli is no doubt a valuable player in the middle order of India at present, and yet his recent performances have shown glimpses of his past great form.
