West Indies and Zimbabwe are set to face each other in the Group 1 Super Eights match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, as Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is hosting on Monday night (February 23).

Both West Indies and Zimbabwe are unbeaten in the tournament. While the West Indies won all four of their matches in the group stage of the competition, Zimbabwe recorded three wins and one no result in the group stage. 

In Group C, the West Indies beat Scotland, England, Nepal, and Italy. Meanwhile, Group B team Zimbabwe defeated Oman and Australia before a rain washout fixture against Ireland, while winning against the hosts Sri Lanka in their last group stage match.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and chose to bowl first.

West Indies made one change in the playing XI. Romario Shephard has returned to the playing XI by replacing Roston Chase.

Brandon King, Shai Hope (Captain & wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Jason Holder, Matthew Forde, Akeal Hosain, Shamar Joseph, Gudakesh Motie.

Zimbabwe also made one change in the playing XI. Richard Ngarava has replaced Wellington Masakadza.
